Gabrielle

My beautiful cousin Gabrielle was my first guinea pig - ahem, I mean, subject - for a portrait session. I should really call her my muse because she is so beautiful and all of her photos came out amazing.

She is, herself, an amazing individual. She moved all the way to Maine from Cincinnati, OH to live with myself and Wally for the summer. It was so lovely to have her company as we settled into a new house and a new state! When I got my new camera, I knew I had to test it out on her ASAP - and she was kind enough to let me.

We were at a musical festival at Hidden Valley Nature Center. It was so. freaking. hot. One of those freak heat waves we had last year, and we were sitting in the direct sun listening to music. So we decided to take a hike in the shade to cool down, and also take some photos. These will forever be some of my favorite photos.
